i really have to blog about this. i had to laugh when i saw devorah sperber’s work. she made a copy of leonardo da vinci’s last supper. it is build of 20.736 bobbins of sewing thread. it is upside down, and if you look through the little glas bowl you can see it the right way. 
why did i have to blog about this? i can imagine people who know me and my new apartment here in hamburg or my old one in regensburg have to smile, too, when they see it. for others: i have da vinci’s last supper myself. it is a tied wall carpet. you can see pictures of it below, while it functions as a dj desk decoration.
