Störteblogger – sharing ideas not apples
This sunday, at 2:00 pm the first official Störteblogger-meeting takes place. You may ask, what’s that?
Nils and me, we had the idea that bringing back the web2.0 life into REAL life could be pretty cool. Sounds crazy or not? Coming togehter with people you actually just met and had conversations with over the interent and then a real date? Sounds like these crazy people, who met their love online and getting married. Well, that’s exactly what we are talking about, but NO, we don’t want to marry, we just want to meet, chat, and discuss. Basically the idea is:
“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” (George Bernard Shaw)
But you may have noticed actions like the collaborative war against “Indexing and Censorship of German Websites” and “Ein ♥ für Blogs” or even the actions, where bloggers and microbloggers are trying to help Iranians, show that there are huge developments to a collaborative movement. The “citizens” of web2.0 are not just a few! You can’t even call them “Generation… Whatever”, the movement includes generations, people of every age, from different parts of the world. That’s what I like about the whole internet/web2.0 thing.
