The Creators Project Party
Well, the party of the Creators Project in London was incredible. Mark Ronson & The Business INTL, Kele Okereke, Filthy Dukes, Trevor Jackson, Peaches, Cassette Playa, Mumdance, Flats, Yuck and Hudson Mohawke and some more. But I want to concentrate on the first three. Usually I am not such a big fan of electronic music but the Creators Project showed me a way to become more familiar with it.
Mark Ronson and the Business Intl
You wouldn’t call Mark Ronson and the Business Intl typical electronic music. It is a combination of Soul, R ‘n’ B, and what ever. Awesome music, really, I love it.
Amy Winehouse wasn’t on stage that night but some other dude I didn’t know. He was great. That song totally made the crowd freak out. The show looked similar to this one:
Of course, I listened to Kele before. I like listening to Bloc Party, no suprise I would listen to the solo album of the lead singer as well. I like it but it wasn’t that big of a deal for me. Until I saw him live. He rocked the house. At amy&pink you can see the newest video: Everything You Wanted.
Here is a short audiovisual glimpse of the powerful and rocking set:
All in all the party was amazing. Free drinks for everyone (approximately 1000 people, I have no idea). Crazy live acts, great DJs and celebrating people. If the Creators Project makes a stop in Berlin, I will be there for sure!
