Open Source – win 2 Tickets

Next weekend the Open Source Festival will take place in Düsseldorf. Saturday July 23rd, starting at 2pm until Sunday morning, you can dance to some good sounds. The event takes place in Düsseldorf for the sixth time, this time again at the racecourse Düsseldorf. It will offer the stage to several music acts from different genres from all around the world. By now the Open Source Festival is in institution not only for Düsseldorf but for the whole region.

This year there will be three stages, where bands like Editors, Architecutre in Helsinki, Mount Kimbie, as well as some brand new young talents will deliver some nice sounds. See the time schedule here (pdf).

But my big big personal highlight is JAMIE XX, he will put on his records for two hours (!!!) in the afternoon. Here you can hear why I am so excited:

I am so happy to see/hear him live, every mix which was published within the last year(s), was incredible. New sounds , it always sweeps me off my feet. A few weeks ago I met three guys from Manchester, where Jamie XX is resident DJ. And they told me, Jamie XX is even more fantastic live.

I will make a late launch trip with Jan and Malte, two of the ones who helped me a lot with the redesign. In Düsseldorf we will meet Open Studio. It will be a big come together of the people who designed and realized BETTER __ THAN __.

Last Friday I met the organizers of the festival and they offered me the chance to raffle off two tickets. So, here you have got the chance to win two day&night tickets to the Open Source Festival. It is an “Ehrenkarte”, really don’t know what it means, but you have access to every event of the Open Source Festival, you can ride buses/trains for free and of course use the shuttle service between the several venues. All you need to do, is write a comment.
