Typoguide
This week I feature friends here on BETTER taste THAN sorry. Yesterday I promoted Placescore, today it’s Typoguide. Ben Lehnert, one of the 6Wunderkinder, started this project already some weeks ago. He created a little but very useful guide to typography.
I like it a lot. Simple questions are answered: What is the difference between typefaces and fonts? What font-size should I use? And what typefaces actually work together? But then comes the really useful part – a description for punctuation characters like ‘`´-–—{}()|][“”“”«». You should check it out: typogui.de.
But this week Ben also created a print version of the guide. And I really like Marcel’s idea:
Guys, you can buy @blehnert's Typoguide on paper now! Just take a pack of five and gift it to designer friends: http://t.co/qu2HFFbvUg
