better taste than sorry is my blog about everything I like. My name is Markus Reuter but you can call me “roitsch”. Basically I will write about anything, which bothers me. The categories are and will not be limited. In my blog I will post about topics like design, visualizations, observations of daily life, ideas or music. There is only one restriction: I will do as I like.

But you may ask yourself: Why “better taste than sorry“? After brainstorming for a while how I could entitle my web blog, I came upon the idea that basically my blog came into being, because I care about almost everything. I wanted to collect things I like and create a platform to discuss these things. In my opinion there is nothing as bad as carelessness. Like Metallica once said: “Boredom sets into the boring mind” (Metallica – The Struggle within). And nothing is as boring as having no opinion or not expressing his/her opinion. Coined by the phrase “better safe than sorry” “better taste than sorry” stands for my statement that I care about things and I express my opinion about these things (which reflects my taste).

This blog adresses to anybody, who has similar interests. That means, who is interested in everything under the sun. I hope I can arouse your interest, point out to interesting things, and give you some inspiration.

I know usually there is no accounting for taste, but I want to ask you to comment and discuss my posts. I will be happy about any comments, suggestions for other topics or links to things I could like.
