The brothers Van and Casey Neistat make some serious crazy shit. The brothers are film makers. They make short films, funny films and interesting films. Via a tweet of the german newspaper der Freitag I was guided to the article in the Guardian. And then I watched through their video selection. I am impressed.

Today is such a crazy day. I totally got lost in weblogs, portfolios, and websites for a few hours. But this time I documented the process, in order to give you some inspiration. Maybe you get infected like me.

I am a huge fan of I’m from Barcelona. Their first album “Let Me Inroduce You To My Friends” is incredibly good and the second one “Whoi Killed Harry Houdini?” as well. But their new project is something really special. The project is called 27 Songs. Why? Because there are 27 band members and each of them contributes a solo song for the album.

Sometimes you find something on the web and it knocks you of your feed. Basically that happened to me when I found the website of The Dubberly Design Office (DDO).

That’s what I like about advertising agencies ideas companies. Sometimes they really suprise me, sometimes they think outside boxes. Rethink is such an agency, they think and deal sustainably. Not in an ecological way, but in an entrepreneurial way.

Recently I wrote about creating someting, doing your own thing (and sharing it!), getting more connection to others, and Humble Pied is a project that gets it all.

A good friend of mine, Guido Zimmermann (communication designer from Düsseldorf) is part of the collective “Anonyme Gestalter” (=anonymous designer). The collective Anonyme Gestalter has a brilliant attitude: changing your environment the way you want it. 13 designers from different origins. And they all got the same goals.

Yesterday was a great day for inspiration. I stumbled upon some things and realized that they all have one thing in common, they tell you to “Do Your Own Thing (and share it)”! And that is exactly what I am doing and want to do even more.

Rarely I find something as inspirational as the interview with Eike König. Eike, is the owner of HORT. I reported about HORT in July.

And I must admit I was overwhelmed when Eike invited me to their summer party. As usual I asked for permission to use some of their works for my blog post and then…

Ok, I have to stay calm while writing this post. But on the other side I could start packing my things and move to Al Qouz, Dubai! Why?
