Well you could think that I would get thousands of promotion mails and questions if I could write about this and that BUT that is definetly not the case. Maybe there is one mail in my inbox per week and mostly these things are not the kinds of things I would write about.

At first Broken Bells present their first video, now Johnossi comes up with their new single: What’s The Point. I am overwhelmed. September 2009, sunrise at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Thousands of people sitting on the ground waiting for Justin Vernon, front man and singer of Bon Iver. The album Vampire Weekend of the same called band Vampire Weekend is one my favourite albums of the last years. The album is stuffed with 11 brilliant songs. It’s winter time, so it’s the perfect time for Islandic music. Yesterday was the concert of Helgi Hrafn Jonsson here in Hamburg and to say it with just one word: dreamlike. Helgi’s music consists of typical Icelandic characteristics. The soulful vocals, playful, experimantal attitudes, and magical, dreamful sounds.
