I am a huge fan of I’m from Barcelona. Their first album “Let Me Inroduce You To My Friends” is incredibly good and the second one “Whoi Killed Harry Houdini?” as well. But their new project is something really special. The project is called 27 Songs. Why? Because there are 27 band members and each of them contributes a solo song for the album.

I know, I know almost everybody of you heard already about the newest mashup shit of The Kleptones. It is called “Uptime/Downtime” and is seperated into two parts. The first one is the relaxing chillout part (Downtime) and the other part is the rocking party mix (Uptime).

An ode to Megan Kathleen McIsaacPosted by: Markus Reuter in art, audiovisual, lifestyle, photographyI like creative people. Espacially when they prove their creativity in different ways. And Megan Kathleen McIsaac is talented in many ways. She proves good taste and an eye for details in every work. How lovely is this? Via a tweet of the incredibly inspring Maria Popova aka @brainpicker I found the short film “Mixtape”. That’s what I like about advertising agencies ideas companies. Sometimes they really suprise me, sometimes they think outside boxes. Rethink is such an agency, they think and deal sustainably. Not in an ecological way, but in an entrepreneurial way.

Video Premiere of Broken Bells’ The High RoadPosted by: Markus Reuter in audiovisual, musicThis is freaking awesome. Today is my birthday and Broken Bells present the video to their first single “The High Road”. It’s like a special present from James Mercer (greatest musician of all time), Brian Burton and TapeTV..to me! Crazy, I never heard of Gil Scott-Heron before. I found the video of “Me And The Devil” via a friend of mine from Melting Grooves. And I must admit it’s freaky but I like it a lot. Recently I wrote about creating someting, doing your own thing (and sharing it!), getting more connection to others, and Humble Pied is a project that gets it all. |
